The acquired knowledge of comparative tax law will allow the participants to
anticipate quicker to problems in their respective home countries and will offer
them a broader view of possible solutions.
Furthermore, the unique exposure opportunity to international tax and
management experts in various fields on the one hand, and their backgrounds
and experiences on the other hand, will allow participants to build a valuable
network that will greatly benefit their future work and respective organizations.
Finally, with its macro-focus on capacity building of public finance authorities in
developing and transition countries, the Programme will ultimately contribute to
the durable strength of the participant's home country revenue-raising ability
as a whole.

Application
Applications must be submitted to the International Masters Office, see below, before the end of March
of the year in which the applicant wishes to start in the programme.
The number of participants is limited to 20 participants per year. The programme runs from September
1 to June 30.

Admission
The admission fee amounts to 17,500 euro. This includes all necessary teaching materials.
Participants should consider an amount between 1,000 and 1,500 euro per month to cover personal
expenses, including student accomodation and cost of living.
Utrecht University guarantees housing for its foreign visitors and offers assistance with other practical
arrangements, such as visa applications, upon request.
